Ramblings of the Kovacs Family: My two-and-a-half year old.

My two-and-a-half year old has changed so much in the last 6 months. She has really developed a definite personality. She is witty, mostly gentle and loving to her baby sister and extremely strong willed. She is the cuddliest child I know. She loves her "cuggles". When she is sad, angry or frustrated, tired or bored...she loves a cuggle. After a growling, she wants a cuggle. I love that about her. Just wanting to check that Mummy or Daddy still loves her. Of course we do :). You don't have to do much to punish her, she is very sensitive. She longs to please and loves praise more than any other reward. She is easy to please. Her smile and little arms wrapping around me brightens my day. Her cheeky sense of humour makes me smile...it is very contagious. Even when growling at her, if she grins at me, I have to fight not to smile back. She is kinda cute-and boy does she know it!

Her favourite colour is pink. Her favourite things are fairies and butterflies, Charlie and Lola, Disney Princesses and Tinkerbell, her dolls houses and figurines, Barbies and baby dolls and the mountain of things that come with them, books and drawing/art and craft materials and anything with glitter and sparkles. She is very easy to please really. She loves to do things with Mummy and Daddy and have some special time which we love. She loves her cuddly blanket who she calls Gaga. When tired she sucks her two middle fingers for comfort. She adores her Maddie-Moosles, whom she heaps kisses and cuddles and plenty of affection on, and the feeling sure is mutual. She loves chocolate, strawberries and apricots, chocolate milk and hot chippies for a treat. She is a VERY fussy eater!!! She sometimes puts her shoes on the right feet, wears t-shirts for skirts and tries in vain to fit her sister's clothing it never really does. She is particular on what she like to wear. Practical is not her middle name. Party dresses and patent leather mary janes should be standard wear. It has to have pink on it, or there are issues. Life is all about things being pretty. She like her routines-especially at night. Her bath, her stories, her three kisses good night. She likes talking on the phone, likes being part of it all. She scans the room thinking of things she can talk about...so everything discussed on the phone, is totally random.

She like dancing especially tap dancing, singing and songs-she likes to choose, playgrounds and slides, feeding ducks and the beach. She loves fluffies and going to cafes. She likes helping Daddy in the garden, washing the cars and doing "stuff". She likes visiting her Nana and Poppa, staying at Nana and Grandads in Hamilton, and causing chaos with her cousins. She is a people person-loves to be around others, and not so much by herself. She is left handed.

Her friends that she talks about all the time are Zachey, Luke and Maia, Zaria and Lani, Charlie and Makayla and Jake. She loves her cousins Alex and Claudia, her Grandparents and Aunts and Uncles.
She likes to know what we are doing the next day when we read her stories at night...and she remembers the next day.

She wonders how things work, why things do what they do, and what they are. She is very curious. You can see her little mind ticking over and wondering. She is carefree. Although she has a few fears-bugs and spiders, Santa Claus and she is wary of strangers (which is not a bad way to be) these do not seem to worry her too much.

To her life is pretty good. Our our life is great having her here in our lives. What a blessing our "big" girl is. Bella Rose, we love you so much!
